Paul Connett is Professor Emeritus in Environmental Chemistry at St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY. For the past 30 years, Paul has put his scientific knowledge to work by helping (without fee) communities around the world understand the science of controversial issues like incineration and fluoridation. In addition to explaining the dangers of these practices he offers details of the alternatives.

This meeting will take place in the City Chambers at City Hall. It’s open to the public, so another opportunity to hear Dr. Connett and show your support for ending fluoridation of our water.

Dear Minister,
Safe Water Ottawa was planning to get an injunction to stop the city from the process of water fluoridation until thorough testing and proof of safety performed by an independent, third party can be produced. We are a small group of concerned citizens and don’t have funds.
We are asking you, the Minister of Health to help end the process of water fluoridation in the same way as Israel and the 11 other countries; China, Austria, Belgium, Sweden, The Netherlands, Japan, Finland, Germany, Denmark, Norway and Hungary.
The Environmental Protection Agency state the fluoride levels in drinking water are still creating heath issues due to over exposure to fluoride. Citizens are being over exposed to fluoride….

Denver, Colorado has been fluoridated since 1953, but recent pressure on the Water Board to end fluoridation from citizens and local campaigners has resulted in the board hosting the city’s first information session on the issue. The forum will be held tomorrow (July 29th) from 1:00-3:30pm at the Denver Water Administration Building, and will include a panel of three experts representing both sides of the debate.
The board’s decision on fluoridation will impact over 1.5 million residents in the Denver metro area, so if you live nearby please attend this meeting that will directly impact you, your friends, and your family. Because of time restrictions the board will not be taking public comment at the meeting, but a large crowd will have a major influence by showing board members just how many residents believe this practice should to end.

The expert panel in opposition to fluoridation will consist of FAN’s Director, Paul Connett, PhD, along with local campaigner and horse breeder Cathy Justus, and Dr. Jeremy Widmann who studied Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology and holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Colorado.The proponents of fluoridation will by represented by William Bailey, DDS, formerly with the CDC, Katya Mauritson, DMD, Colorado State dental Director, and Brett Kessler, DDS, Past President of the Colorado Dental Association. Both sides have 30 minutes total with up to 20 minutes of questioning from the panel.

The Denver Dental Society sees the forum as a threat to fluoridation and has responded by urging its members to send letters to board members. We would like to do the same. If you’re a Colorado resident or one of FAN’s Professional signers, please submit comments to the board calling for the end to fluoridation. All others please hold off on sending comments for now, until locals and experts have been heard; councilors generally don’t want to hear from out-of-state residents unless they have a medical or scientific background
